Pete Norford (Norf) and I are organising a gathering in Canberra on 17-19 January 2025 to commemorate the start of 28 Course, RAAF Academy. We’re hoping to arrange a visit to the Australian War Museum hanger for the Friday arvo (fall back is the AWM), followed by informal drinks at the Norfs. At this stage, I’m not proposing any organised activity for daytime Saturday, but there is plenty of culture here (well, so long as you give me a wide clearance 🤪); some examples – capitalbrewing, zierholz, bentspokebrewing, cypherbrewing. Saturday evening will be the main event; hopefully at a venue by the Lake. If there is sufficient interest, on the Sunday I’m thinking of a visit to two or three of the local wineries with lunch at one of them.

Hi Hammo – I have some contact with the AWM and we (work) have arranged visits to the Mitchell AWM facility in the past so I may be able to help.

Norfs have a guest room…..double mit ensuite…and have offered that to Rock….
..however…there is another room (with ensuite) downstairs….next to the workshop …currently set-up with four singles…easily converted to a double… Interested….??
